The Oppo Reno4 Pro Unboxing/Cover By Ameer Hamza
Welcome to another day, another unboxing, and what I’ve got here is pretty cool.
It’s the Reno for Pro, it’s the non 5G version of this phone with a Snapdragon 7 20 G instead of the 765G. And it’s primarily meant for India again.
But this is really cool because, you know, it should be really affordable.
I don’t know what the price is right now and I’ll put it up here if I know. But basically, if you watch my other article you read me No. Nine Pro Max, which is a 200 U.S. dollars Snapdragon, 720 geophone with tons of great features.
This is very similar on paper and, you know, very, very nice form for the money. So this is potentially upwelled competing with that. So let’s have a look. As you can see, this is an 8 gigabyte, 256-gigabyte version.
There’s a 6-gigabyte version of that. And that’s the box. Very Hopoate, typical on the back.
You’ve got really nothing to talk about. So let’s open this up, shall we? You’ve got the divider here. Here is an up box all white, and there’s really not too much here.
So let’s open this up to the launch. Nothing inside. The first thing we find a divider. Not surprising. I’ll check this on the second. Then we’ve got the phone here. Let’s take a look. It says Up or Reno for pro 90-hertz screen, 65-watt supergroup two.
Pretty amazing. So it’s using that dual cell charging in parallel technology, A.I., Portree, 9, 60 frames per second.
Slow-motion. Interesting. And of course, the Snapdragon 720 G. And you’ll see it’s white in the back, which is really cool. All right.
Now we’ve got another divideR and we have a charger. This looks like a U.K. prong charger. This is 65 watts super. 2 chargers. This thing’s intense. Yeah. There’s a little yellow Kaede USP-type airport.
Remember that you need to use the same cable brand the Charger brand to get this fast-charging system is like one plus basically.
In fact, compatible. But if you don’t use the right cord and you can see the court is keyed in yellow here in the US, type 8 or 1 N and of course, it’s got U.S. B, type C on the other end. Also, it in yellow. As you can see here, these 2 go together.
If you want to get a see-through our what charging you have to use these two.
You can still charge with a regular PD. Charges will be fast. And of course, this will charge P phone well, just not as fast. And if you don’t use this quarter with this charge, you won’t get the right speed.
So that’s something to keep in mind. This is being pretty much the case with these super-fast charging technologies that are proprietary to various companies.
So we have some earbuds in here. Here we go. So these types of UPO.
They look like your pods, but they have this nice, cute little green accent in them. So, yeah. Then there is a divider. We didn’t look through that. All right. So we’ve got an NDA. Aha.
We’re getting one of those nice, translucent, cheap cases, which I really love on Chinese phones.
They’re very high quality. They last a long time and don’t get too yellow in the process. So SIM removal tool, we’ve got awful instructions and safety.
I’m not sure which 1s which let’s assume is. Yeah, this is the setup one. So I’m not going to open the whole thing. But you can have a look here. There are multiple languages. And then this is, I think, the warranty info. Nobody cares. All right.
So you can see the case. Nice to keep you while fitted. Nice stuff.
So let’s have a look at the form. Really gives us what we came for. There we go. So let me take it out of its packaging.
There we go. And there an IMF sticker in the back. So let me remove it well. Here we go. And wow, look at that. Poor less than white color. Oh, wow. Look at that interesting camera, which is kind of looks like the iPhone camera iPod.
But with the 4 lenses inline instead of 3 lenses in a triangle. Very interesting. So. Whew.
This is like a really crazy satin finish. I’m not sure if this is plastic or glass. It’s hard to tell. Like this chrome finish could be plastic.
So it’s kind of amazing because Apple is releasing these Reno forms really quickly.
In 2019, we got the Reno original, then the Reno 2 series, and now in 2020, we got the Reno 3 and I think was only 2019. We got the Reno 3 series and now the Reno for series.
So watch my unboxing of the Reno three Prall here. So way could be plastic, I don’t care. It looks cool. Let’s fire it up.
Here we go. We heard the vibration. Nice. While this is firing up. Let me tell you what’s in store here. So this is what I know so far. This hasn’t come out. And I just got it with very minimal information about it.
What I know is that it has a 6.5-inch ten ADP display.
I think this is an annual led display. I think there’s an in-display fingerprint sensor, which indicates it’s I’m glad it’s a 90-hertz display.
This is a big deal. Here’s the beautiful upo setup screen. And you can see, very little bezzle top and bottom, their little bells on the sides. It’s a curved display. It’s got a bit of a curve on each side of a waterfall.
Not too bad, though. Not as much as some other phones. So I don’t mind, but I prefer flat screens, really, frankly. We’ve got a 32-megapixel camera is the Sony IMAX 616.
That sensor can do quite beaning, I think four to one. So it can output eight megapixels F over 2.4.
That’s common on these whole punch cameras. You don’t get a very big aperture, unfortunately.
Not sure the pixel size, but. Yeah. That’s it for the front. You got your piece, of course, up here. You can see that now in the back. Let’s talk about these cameras. There are four of them. And it’s a Sunni IMX 586.
It’s one that’s been used for many years now. And a lot of the 14-megapixel phone, that’s a really good sensor.
It’s really well known well-tuned these days. So pictures taken with a sensor end up being really good.
So this is I with an F 1.7 lens aperture and. It says a pixel size of the point, 8 microns, so it does quad 4 to 1 pixel being from 48 megapixels down to 12 megapixels, doesn’t have oil s listed here, but I honestly don’t expect this phone would have wireless is an 8-megapixel ultra-wide F over 2.2
Not sure of the pixel size. A 2-megapixel macro camera F over 2.4 and a 2-megapixel monochrome camera F over 2.4 as well.
Oppas has done this in the past to kind of improve light performance. Interesting setup. Under the hood is a really nice large 4000$ an hour battery and was 65 by charging charges and a half-hour less.
So, you know, pretty cool for that. I don’t think we’re gonna get wireless charging on a phone like this. But, you know, there you go.
So it gives a RAM 256 or 128 gigs of storage, Snapdragon 7 20. Gee, that’s suspects Android 10 and. Yeah. Be interesting to see how this performs. I’m looking forward to trying it out and playing with it. It’s very sexy looking.
Yeah. Let me give you a quick tour of edges. So on the left-hand side, here is the volume rocker. As you can see at the bottom.
Here is a headphone jack. Huh. So those earbuds are probably 3.5 millimeters as an SBC port and a speaker. Not sure. This is mono or stereo, honestly. And then we’ve got the PAS Lockean in typical Apple fashion.
Is that nice little green accent on the Paul Locky on the right-hand side.
And on top is the same tray secondary microphone. And I’m not sure if there is expandable storage, but that’s it. That’s the lay of the land on the Oppal Reno for Prall. So stay tuned.
